Our yard cat has lived to a draw. But when there was extreme cold, or the rain pouring, she went into a door and mewed. Somebody opened the door (including us) - cat walks, eat (if anything will), I will get warm on my lap, sleep... And then goes to the door and wants to come out - like "I warmed, snack - time and the privilege to know"
